Hi, I’m Emma – the person (and animal lover) behind the camera at PAWS For Thought.
I’m a big believer that each animal has their very own, unique personality, and I love capturing that in natural photos you’ll want to treasure forever.
Whether your horse or dog is playful, shy, bouncy, or calm, I’ll work with them at their own pace to bring out their true character.
The photo of me to the left? That’s from a fundraiser calendar shoot I did for a rescue charity back in 2021. I’m far more comfortable behind the lens than in front of it – exactly the way I like it!
I’ve spent many years around animals and hold qualifications in animal welfare and behaviour, so you can feel confident your four-legged best friend is in good hands. I strongly believe in positive reinforcement and gentle handling – your shoot will always be done with patience and kindness.
Based in Crowle, I cover Lincolnshire and the surrounding areas, offering affordable dog and horse photography in the great outdoors.

I'm no stranger to grief and the heartache it causes. Having lost many family members over the years, and more recently my gorgeous Bonnie, the family dog of 11 years, I can fully appreciate the memories photos can provide us.
Our Bonnie walked through every difficult step of life by our side, and remained our loyal friend until the very end when we had to make the heart-breaking decision to let her cross the rainbow bridge.
A year before she passed, I'd taken a paw print from her, knowing that our days together would soon come to an end. It wasn't until a year after she passed that I framed it alongside some of my favourite images of her. As I took a moment to pause (or should I say... PAWS) and reflect, I was inspired to help others create keepsakes of their beloved companions, and so PAWS For Thought Photographer came to life.
